Heart of a King: A Dialogue of Hope

I looked but found none.
I searched, with all hopes, but I sought none.
I thought they no longer exist.
I hope they’re still somewhere, someplace I have never found.

Othniel
Where are the people who change the world?
Where are those whose souls move the tectonic plates of the earth?
Why has the wicked ruled?
Why have they dominated the fallen world?
Where, now, o righteous ones, are you?
The world needs you.

Ecclaire
Why do we look for things when they’re deep within?
Why do we search for help when out of our hearts it’ll spring?
Bring all you have.
Strengths, fears, gifts, doubts, talents, weaknesses, efforts, everything!
We can make this world better.
Only if WE allow Righteousness to rule over everything that we have.

Othniel
So you say, dear sister,
where lust and fornication and lying lips are rampant…
where dishonorable respect and bribery abound…
where there is endless politicking across the earth!
When, O earth, is heaven’s dew falling again?
When, O earth, is your Next Great Awakening?
Revive! Bring all souls back to life!
Bring the dead and come alive, you dry bones!
